H Βασίλισσα Ελισάβετ έχει πλέον και ένα Range Rover Hybrid LWB Landaulet στον στόλο της. Δημιουργία της Land Rover Special Vehicle Operations, το one-off μοντέλο βασίζεται στο Range Rover

Hybrid με το μακρύ μεταξόνιο, με την οροφή του να έχει αφαιρεθεί.

Κίνηση παίρνει από τον 3.0-λιτρο SDV6 diesel κινητήρα και από έναν ηλεκτροκινητήρα, συνολικής ιπποδύναμης 340 ίππων με 700 Nm ροπής, επιτρέποντας του να κάνει τα 0-100 χλμ/ώρα σε 6,9 δευτερόλεπτα, έχοντας τελική ταχύτητα 218 χλμ/ώρα.

NEW HYBRID ‘STATE REVIEW’ RANGE ROVER

Fourth State Review vehicle from Land Rover makes its debut in Cardiff

Whitley, UK, 11 June 2015 – A new, hybrid-powered State Review vehicle was used for the first time today, when Her Majesty The Queen presented New Colours to the Royal Welsh Regiment in Cardiff. The Queen is Colonel-in-Chief of the Regiment.

Based on a long wheelbase Range Rover, the new vehicle features a diesel hybrid engine, which enables it to run at times purely on electric power. The State Review was designed by Land Rover Design and engineered by Jaguar Land Rover’s Special Vehicle Operations department.

This is the fourth State Review vehicle which Land Rover has provided, starting with a 1953 Land Rover Series 1. The new hybrid replaces the previous Range Rover State Review vehicle, which dates from 2002.

Jaguar Land Rover is the only automotive company to hold all three Royal Warrants, from HM The Queen, HRH The Duke of Edinburgh and HRH The Prince of Wales. The company also recently received a 2015 Queen’s Award for Enterprise in Sustainable Development, for reducing the environmental impact of its products and its operations.
