Βραβεία Κωμικής Φωτογραφίας Άγριας Ζωής: Oι πιο αστείες στιγμές της φύσης

Κάθε χρόνο, τα Βραβεία Κωμικής Φωτογραφίας Άγριας Ζωής (Comedy Wildlife Photography Awards) αναδεικνύουν τις πιο αστείες εικόνες ζώων στη φύση.

Ταλαντούχοι φωτογράφοι απ’ όλο τον κόσμο καταγράφουν στιγμές, κατά τις οποίες τα ζώα φαίνεται να βιώνουν πολύ ανθρώπινα συναισθήματα ή διασκεδαστικές καταστάσεις.

Οι ιδρυτές του διαγωνισμού, Τομ Σάλαμ και Τζόινσον Χικς ξεκίνησαν το θεσμό με στόχο την ευαισθητοποίηση για τη διατήρηση της άγριας ζωής.

Ελπίζουν ότι οι φωτογραφίες θα ενθαρρύνουν τους ανθρώπους να αγοράζουν υπεύθυνα, να προσέχουν τη χρήση νερού και να μιλούν για περιβαλλοντικά ζητήματα – εκτός από το να γελούν με τα στιγμιότυπα του φωτογραφικού φακού.

Υπάρχουν δύο σημαντικές πτυχές του διαγωνισμού.

Πρώτον, υπάρχει για την αναγνώριση της υπέροχης φωτογραφίας και, κυρίως, της φωτογραφίας που έχει καταγράψει ένα άγριο ζώο να κάνει κάτι ξεκαρδιστικό.

Δεύτερον, προσπαθούμε να θέσουμε το ζήτημα της διατήρησης μέσω μιας χιουμοριστικής, αισιόδοξης και θετικής σχέσης με αυτά τα ζώα.

Η απλή ιδέα πίσω από όλα αυτά, είναι ότι πιστεύουμε ακράδαντα ότι το χιούμορ και η θετικότητα μπορούν να διαδραματίσουν σημαντικό ρόλο στην οικοδόμηση ευαισθητοποίησης, ενδιαφέροντος και, τελικά, δράσης για την προστασία των ζώων που ζουν σε αυτόν τον πλανήτη, τονίζουν στην ιστοσελίδα του διαγωνισμού οι διοργανωτές του.

Η υποβολή φωτογραφιών, υποψήφιων για τα βραβεία του 2020 έχει αρχίσει και θα διαρκέσει έως τις 30 Ιουνίου.

Οι νικητές εκτός από το τρόπαιο κερδίζουν ένα σαφάρι για δύο άτομα, διάρκειας μιας εβδομάδας στην Κένυα.
