Μία ακόμη “επιβεβαίωση” σχετικά με την επερχόμενη κυκλοφορία του  iPad mini έρχεται από την The Wall Street Journal  η οποία αναφέρει ότι η Apple ξεκίνησε την μαζική παραγωγή του νέου, μικρότερου, tablet.

Apple Inc.’s Asian component suppliers have started mass production of a new tablet computer smaller than the current iPad, people

with knowledge of the situation said, as the Silicon Valley company tries to stay competitive against rivals such as Google Inc. and Amazon.com Inc.  that are offering smaller, less-expensive alternatives to the iPad.

Οι πηγές της The Wall Street Journal αναφέρουν πως το iPad mini διαθέτει οθόνη 7.85″ με ανάλυση χαμηλότερη αυτής του νέου iPad (3ης γενιάς), πιθανώς 1024 x 768 pixel.
