H Rolls-Royce στην έκθεση της Γενεύης τον Μάρτιο θα παρουσιάσει την Wraith, της coupe έκδοσης της Ghost, η οποία θα είναι το δυνατότερο μοντέλο που θα έχει βγει ποτέ από το εργοστάσιο της Βρετανικής εταιρίας στο Goodwood.

Τώρα μετά τις πρώτες teaser και renderings φωτογραφίες, η RR, έδωσε ακόμη μια teaser από το πίσω μέρος. Το αυτοκίνητο θα φορά τον twin-turbo V12 κινητήρα 6,6-λίτρων, ο οποίος θα αποδίδει 608 άλογα, με τα 0-100 χλμ/ώρα να τα κάνει σε 4.7 δευτερόλεπτα. Θα διαθέτει μεγαλύτερα φρένα, σφιχτότερη και χαμηλότερη κατά

10mm ανάρτηση.

To μεταξόνιο της Wraith Ghost Coupe θα είναι κατά 180 mm μικρότερο από τα 3.295 mm της Ghost ενώ το συνολικό μήκος της θα αγγίζει τα 5.200 mm. Θα ζυγίζει 2.300 κιλά και στο εσωτερικό θα υπάρχουν νέα πίσω καθίσματα. Οι πωλήσεις της θα ξεκινήσουν από το φθινόπωρο με αρχική τιμή κοντά τις £205.000 (€240.000).

ROLLS-ROYCE WRAITH: POWER, STYLE, DRAMA

Rolls-Royce Motor Cars today publishes the second image of its next model, Wraith, a hand-built motor car that exudes hallmark Rolls-Royce luxury and comfort whilst possessing a character defined by Power, Style and Drama.

For 108 years, effortless power delivery has been inherent to the Rolls-Royce brand promise. This image depicts Wraith’s muscular rear haunches – a visual cue that gives bold expression to Wraith’s promise of dynamism. A sense that this is a car set to move with purpose on its driver’s command.

And so to the question of Power. In times gone by, when asked the question, Rolls-Royce would simply reply, “Adequate, Sir”. However, for Wraith we feel it right to be a touch more explicit:

“More than ample.”

All will be revealed at the Geneva Motor Show on 5 March 2013.
