Στην SEMA η Hyundai σε συνεργασία με την Blood Type Racing (BTR) θα παρουσιάσουν ένα τουμπανιασμένο κόκκινο Genesis Coupe, το οποίο ξεχωρίζει από το φουσκωμένο bodykit αποτελούμενο από τα τεράστια φτερά, τη μεγάλη πίσω αεροτομή, τον διαχύτη, το μπροστά spoiler και τις ζάντες 19″. Στο εσωτερικό έχουν τοποθετηθεί bucket καθίσματα της Sabelt, αγωνιστικό τιμόνι, Tanabe OLED Revel πίνακας

οργάνων και roll cage στη θέση των πίσω καθισμάτων.

Ο δίλιτρος turbo κινητήρας έχει βελτιωθεί στα άκρα και είναι ικανός να παράγει το εκπληκτικό νούμερο των 800 ίππων και συνεργάζεται με ένα αναβαθμισμένο εξατάχυτο κιβώτιο. Φυσικά τα φρένα έχουν αναβαθμιστεί και αυτά, η ανάρτηση είναι χαμηλότερη και έχουν τοποθετηθεί μπάρες θόλων μπροστά και πίσω.

HYUNDAI TEAMS UP WITH BLOOD TYPE RACING INC. TO BRING THE EXCITEMENT OF UNDERGROUND RACING TO SEMA

FOUNTAIN VALLEY, Calif., Oct. 8, 2014 – Blood Type Racing Inc., the Chicago-based builder specializing in extracting extreme, street-friendly performance from Korean vehicles, has released details on its 2014 Genesis Coupe built for the 2014 SEMA show. With a host of engine upgrades, suspension changes, and exterior and interior modifications, the BTR Genesis Coupe combines massive power with the true, adrenaline pumping experience of underground racing. The car will be revealed at Hyundai’s SEMA news conference in Las Vegas on November 4, 2014 at 9 a.m. PT.

Leveraging the Genesis Coupe’s performance DNA, the BTR Genesis Coupe uses Hyundai’s 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder as the engine’s foundation. The engine received new sleeves, and was bored to give a larger displacement. With the addition of a high-boost Precision Turbo turbocharger, strengthened and fully balanced internal components, a custom intake, intercooler, full exhaust kit and nitrous injection, the BTR Genesis Coupe sends over 800 horsepower to the rear wheels (nearly 1,000 horsepower at the crank) through a six-speed manual transmission. BTR gave the vehicle an aggressive, underground racing appearance by adding a custom wide body kit designed for BTR by the ever famous Body Kit designer Kei Miura from Japan, with 40mm-wider front and 60mm-wider rear fenders, front bumper lip spoiler, rear diffuser and a GT wing for added down force.

“Our focus on this vehicle was to build on the impressive performance abilities of the Genesis Coupe and help the growth of the aftermarket tuner community,” said Sam Lee, product manager, Blood Type Racing Inc. “It’s easy to add lots of power to an engine, but we engineered all other aspects of the vehicle – cornering and handling, stopping power, and visual appearance – to compliment the massive horsepower we’re now getting from the engine. We’ve engineered a true, total package Genesis Coupe.”

The addition of Tanabe OLED Revel gauges, Sabelt racing seats and harnesses, a Sabelt steering wheel and Cusco roll cage give the BTR Genesis Coupe an aggressive interior, rounding out the complete package.
