Η Aston Martin άνοιξε νέες μηχανολογικές εγκαταστάσεις στο Τεχνολογικό Πάρκο MIRA

Η Aston Martin ανακοίνωσε τη επέκταση των εγκαταστάσεων μηχανολογίας οχημάτων, με το άνοιγμα μια βάσης πρωτοτύπων και οχημάτων εξέλιξης στο νέο Τεχνολογικό Πάρκο MIRA, στο Nuneaton.

Οι νέες εγκαταστάσεις της βρετανικής εταιρίας προσθέτουν ζωτικής χωρητικότητας για τη μηχανική των οχημάτων, με τη κίνηση αυτή να εντείνει το πρόγραμμα εξέλιξης των νέων της μοντέλων. Το κτήριο 15.800 τετραγωνικών ποδιών (1.467,8 τ.μ.) στεγάζει βασικό μέρος της ανάπτυξης των πρωτοτύπων, και τον οχημάτων εξέλιξης (μουλάρια) και αποτελεί μια σημαντική

επένδυση για τη στήριξη των σημερινών και μελλοντικών μοντέλων.

12 January 2015, Gaydon: Aston Martin is significantly expanding its vehicle engineering facilities with the opening of a cutting edge prototype and vehicle development base at the new MIRA Technology Park in Nuneaton, Warwickshire.

Aston Martin’s new facility on the 1.75 million sq ft Enterprise Zone adds vital engineering capacity as the luxury British sports car brand steps up its programme of new model development.

The 15,800 sq ft building accommodates a key part of the brand’s prototype and vehicle development operations and represents a significant investment in support of current and future model programmes.

Ian Minards, Product Development Director at Aston Martin, said: “The cutting edge facilities at MIRA, together with its reputation for quality and excellent security, make it an ideal place for us to carry out some of our prototype development work.

“This excellent facility gives our engineering teams exactly what they need to ensure the next generation of Aston Martin sports cars continue to be truly class-leading.”
