Η Chrysler θα πουλά ένα sedan της Mitsubishi με δικά της σήματα

Η Mitsubishi και η Chrysler συμφώνησαν ώστε η δεύτερη να πουλά ως rebadged, ένα μικρομεσαίο sedan μοντέλο της πρώτης. Το αυτοκίνητο θα πωλείται στο Μεξικό από τον Νοέμβριο, πιθανώς με τα σήματα της Dodge , με τη συμφωνία να έχει χρονοδιάγραμμα 5 ετών.

Mitsubishi Motors Corporation to supply global compact sedan to Chrysler de Mexico

Tokyo / Mexico City, July 1, 2014 – Mitsubishi Motors Corporation (MMC) and Chrysler de Mexico (CdM) announced today a five-year agreement in which MMC will supply its global compact sedan to CdM, to be sold in Mexico starting November 2014. This car will compete in the B segment, one of the largest in the Mexican market which represented 23% of the Mexican Automotive Industry with sales of more than 250,000 during 2013.

“This new contract reaffirms the strong relationship that Chrysler de Mexico has built with Mitsubishi Motors Corporation since 2003 when we began distributing Mitsubishi vehicles in our country, which have garnered great acceptance in the Mexican market,” said Bruno Cattori, President and CEO of Chrysler de Mexico “With the introduction of this new compact sedan, Chrysler de Mexico will add a very competitive vehicle to its line up to fulfill customer’s needs,” Cattori added.

“With this agreement, we continue to strengthen our successful relationship with Chrysler de Mexico, and we expect that our global compact sedan will be accepted in the Mexican market as well as Asian and ASEAN markets where we have been achieving good sales performance,” said Mr. Osamu Masuko, Chairman of the Board/CEO of Mitsubishi Motors Corporation.
