Η Mazda ανακαλεί 850.000+ αυτοκίνητα λόγω Takata

Η Mazda προχώρησε στην ανάκληση 858.741 Mazda6 παραγωγής 2003-2008, τα B-Series pickup 2004-2006, Mazda6 MPS παραγωγής 2006-2007, RX-8 παραγωγής 2004-2008 και MPV παραγωγής 2004, λόγω των ελαττωματικών αερόσακων της Takata. Από τα παραπάνω αυτοκίνητα, τα 442.266 χρειάζονται αντικατάσταση στον αερόσακο του οδηγού, ενώ τα 416.475 αντικατάσταση στον αερόσακο του συνοδηγού.

Παράλληλα η Mazda

ανακοίνωσε και την ανάκληση των CX-5 παραγωγής 2013-2016 στα οποία υπάρχει το ενδεχόμενο να σπάσει το σωλήνας πλήρωσης καυσίμου κατά τη διάρκεια μιας σύγκρουσης στο πίσω μέρος, κάτι που θα μπορούσε να οδηγήσει σε διαρροή καυσίμου με απρόβλεπτες συνέπειες. Η Mazda δεν γνωρίζει κάποιο ατύχημα που να σχετίζεται με το συγκεκριμένο πρόβλημα, με τους Ιάπωνες να εντοπίζουν το πρόβλημα μέσω εσωτερικών δοκιμών ελέγχου ποιότητας.

MAZDA IMPLEMENTS RECALL AND STOP SALE OF ALL 2013-2016 CX-5 VEHICLES

WASHINGTON, DC (February 1, 2016) – Today, Mazda Motor Corporation filed a safety defect report with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) to address a concern with 2013-2016 CX-5 vehicles.

On all 2013-2016 CX-5 vehicles, the fuel filler pipe could rupture during a rear collision, and could potentially cause fuel leakage.

There are no reports of accidents or injuries occurring in the subject vehicles as a result of this condition.

If a customer has concerns about driving their vehicle before the repair is available, dealers will offer a free loaner, demo, or rental vehicle.

MAZDA ANNOUNCES RECALL ON B-SERIES VEHICLES WITH TAKATA DRIVER-SIDE FRONTAL AIRBAG INFLATORS

WASHINGTON, DC (February 1, 2016) – Mazda has decided to recall all 2004–2006 model year B-Series Trucks with Takata driver-side frontal air bag inflators. Approximately 19,000 vehicles are affected in the U.S., Puerto Rico and Saipan.

There have been no reports of accidents or injuries on the Mazda-badged vehicles subject to this recall.

Model Year 2007-2009 B-Series Trucks with Takata passenger-side frontal air bag inflators are part of a previous recall. Approximately 19,000 vehicles are affected in the U.S., Puerto Rico and Saipan.

Below is a summary of Mazda models with a passenger- and/or driver-side front Takata air bag inflators currently being recalled.
