Η McLaren επιβεβαιώσει τα 570 άλογα την 570S

Η McLaren έδωσε νέα teaser φωτογραφία της 570S που θα κάνει ντεμπούτο στην έκθεση της Νέας Υόρκης την ερχόμενη εβδομάδα, επιβεβαιώνοντας παράλληλα και πως ο V8 3,8-λίτρων twin-turbo κινητήρας, στη περίπτωσή της παράγει 570 άλογα.

Όπως έχει γίνει ήδη γνωστό η ΜcLaren Sport Series θα είναι διαθέσιμη σε εκδόσεις 540C και 570S.

Η 540C θα πωλείται στις αγορές της Ασίας αποδίδοντας 540 άλογα, με την 570S να πωλείται στον υπόλοιπο κόσμο. Η δυνατή έκδοση θα κάνει τα 0-100 χλμ/ώρα σε 3,2 δευτερόλεπτα, τα 0-200 χλμ/ώρα σε 9,5 δευτερόλεπτα, διαλύοντας τον φυσικό της αντίπαλο, την AMG GT S, που χρειάζεται 11,9 δευτερόλεπτα για να κάνει πιάσει από στάση τα 200 χλμ/ώρα. Η 570S θα έχει τελική ταχύτητα 328 χλμ/ώρα, με το βάρος της να ανέρχεται στα 1.313 κιλά. Αργότερα θα ακολουθήσει μια σκληροπυρηνική έκδοση σαν την 675LT, με το entry-level μοντέλο της McLaren να είναι διαθέσιμο σε coupe, spider και GT εκδόσεις.

Θα τοποθετηθεί απέναντι από το Nissan GT-R, την Mercedes-AMG GT και την Porsche 911 Turbo/Turbo S, θα φορά το ανθρακονημάτινο MonoCell monocoque σασί, με τον κινητήρα να συνδυάζεται με ένα επτατάχυτο αυτόματο κιβώτιο διπλού συμπλέκτη. Οι πρώτες παραδόσεις θα ξεκινήσουν μέσα στο τέταρτο τρίμηνο του 2015.

McLAREN LAUNCHES ITS SPORTS SERIES IN NEW YORK WITH 570S COUPE

McLaren has announced that the first model to be launched in its Sports Series family will be called the 570S Coupé. This V8 powered, carbon fibre structured two seater will show its beautiful yet aerodynamically optimised form for the first time in less than a week when it debuts at the 115th New York International Auto Show.

With the launch of the first Sports Series derivative, the 570S Coupe, McLaren will be displaying its three tier model strategy together in New York for the first time globally. Every Sports Series model will share its DNA with the Super Series and Ultimate Series that sit above it in the McLaren hierarchy. A pure McLaren, offering class-leading levels of performance, coupled with optimised handling characteristics and driving dynamics, the 570S Coupé marks the first time McLaren has offered its pioneering and race-derived technologies in the sports car segment. In line with the naming convention begun with the 650S, the number 570 gives away the power output of this first McLaren Sports Series model: 570PS, which equates to 562 in hp.
