Η Mitsubishi teasάρει τρία concept cars για την έκθεση του Τόκυο

Η Mitsubishi έδωσε στη δημοσιότητα μία φωτογραφία που teasάρει τρία νέα concept cars που θα παρουσιαστούν τον επόμενο μήνα στην έκθεση αυτοκινήτου το Tokyo.

Όπως συνηθίζεται σε τέτοιες περιπτώσεις, το τρίο των αυτοκινήτων θα αποτελέσουν μία πρόγευση της νέας σχεδιαστικής γραμμής της εταιρίας καθώς και των νέων τεχνολογιών

που θα παρουσιαστούν τα επόμενα χρόνια ως μέρος της @earth φιλοσοφίας. Το πρώτο εκ των τριών, είναι το GC-PHEV –Grand Cruiser- concept που δεν είναι άλλο από το μέλλον των μεγάλων SUV όπως το βλέπει η Mitsubishi. Όπως καταλαβαίνετε και από το όνομά του κινείται από ένα plug-in υβριδικό σύστημα ενώ διαθέτει και το S-AWC σύστημα της φίρμας.

Το δεύτερο concept car είναι το XR-PHEV –Cross Runner- που είναι ένα compact SUV. Όπως και ο μεγάλος αδερφός του, έτσι και αυτό κινείται χάρη σε plug-in υβριδικό σύστημα ενώ το design του, παρότι SUV, είναι επηρεασμένο από coupe αυτοκίνητα.

Τέλος, είναι το Concept AR –Active Runabout-. Αυτό είναι ένα μικρό MPV που υπόσχεται να προσφέρει την κινητικότητα και την πρακτικότητα ενός SUV με το ευρύχωρο εσωτερικό που συνήθως συναντάμε σε MPVs. Κάτω από το καπό βρίσκεται ένας συμβατικός, μικρός, υπερτροφοδοτούμενος κινητήρας άμεσου ψεκασμού ενώ η καμπίνα των επιβατών έχει διάταξη κουκουλιού που σύμφωνα με την Mitsubishi χαρίζει περισσότερη άνεση για τους επιβαίνοντες.

Mitsubishi Motors Corporation (MMC) will point to its technology and design future when it reveals three new concept vehicles at the 43rd Tokyo Motor Show 2013 in November.

Mitsubishi’s concept cars will preview a new design language and highlight the company’s next-generation advanced technologies across themes of environmental responsibility, driving pleasure, off-road performance and safety, in line with the company’s @earth philosophy.

The first of the three concept vehicles is the MITSUBISHI Concept GC-PHEV*, a next-generation full-size SUV that uses a high output PHEV (plug in hybrid electric vehicle) system. With genuine SUV off-road capability and sure-footed driving dynamics thanks to Mitsubishi Motor’s S-AWC (Super All Wheel Control) integrated vehicle dynamic control system, Concept GC-PHEV also features next-generation preventative safety features and driver support technology through mobile network connectivity.

Alongside the full-size SUV concept is the MITSUBISHI Concept XR-PHEV**, a next-generation compact SUV featuring a lightweight and super-efficient PHEV system, agile driving dynamics and sport coupe-like styling.

Mitsubishi’s third show car – the Concept AR*** – is a next-generation compact MPV (multi-purpose vehicle) that combines the practicality and mobility of an SUV and occupant space of a traditional people mover. Powered by a fuel efficient small capacity direct-injection turbocharged engine, the MPV concept is designed with a cocoon-like interior and seating configuration that delivers superior comfort for all passengers.
