Ο Chris Harris αλλάζει πολλά στη επαγγελματική του ζωή. Έπειτα από την αποχώρηση του από το /Drive, την επικείμενη έναρξη του δικού του, προσωπικού καναλιού στο Youtube αλλά και την αποχώρηση του από το Pistonheads, ο Βρετανός εντάσσεται στην ομάδα του Goodwood Festival of Speed και Revival.

Από τη πρώτη στιγμή που πάτησα στο γκαζόν του Festival

of Speed το 2003, ήθελα με κάποιον τρόπο να δουλέψω στο Goodwood. Το ένιωθα πάντοτε σαν το επίκεντρο του τύπου της αγάπης για το αυτοκίνητο που μου αρέσει: συμμετοχικό, ικανό να γιορτάσει τα περίεργα του κόσμου και πάνω απ’ όλα, διασκεδαστικό.

Δήλωσε ο Harris. Ο ρόλος του στο περίφημο φεστιβάλ αυτοκινήτου και όχι μόνο, θα περιλαμβάνει την οδήγηση εξωτικών, sport ή ιστορικών αυτοκινήτων, ο σχολιασμός των videos που θα παράγει και το γράψιμο άρθρων για τη ζωή του και τις εμπειρίες του ως οπαδός και συλλέκτης αυτοκινήτων. Φυσικά, δεν πρέπει να παραλήψουμε να αναφέρουμε πως ο Harris εντάσσεται σε μία ήδη εξαιρετική ομάδα δημοσιογράφων και πως τόσο το Festival of Speed όσο και το Revival, θα μεταδοθούν διαδικτυακά ακριβώς όπως έγινε και φέτος.

Goodwood is delighted to announce that globally-renowned journalist, presenter and part-time racer Chris Harris has joined the Goodwood Road & Racing website team.

Goodwood Road & Racing was launched in June 2014 as a digital destination for the global community of fans of Goodwood whose roster of events includes the Festival of Speed, Revival Meeting, and Breakfast Clubs. Along with coverage of Goodwood events and other blue-chip historic motoring and motor sport gatherings globally, Goodwood Road & Racing shares news, reviews and original insight on new supercars, luxury machines and sportscars, plus a wide range of topics associated with Goodwood and motoring.

Chris joins a roster of expert contributors at Goodwood Road & Racing that includes Andrew Frankel (historic racer and journalist), Henry Hope-Frost (motor sport commentator and author), and Edward Legge (classic and collectible car market analyst).

Chris’s role will include driving and reviewing the most exciting and exotic supercars, sportscars and historics, sharing commentary around his new video projects, and writing about his life and times as an enthusiast and an owner of collectible (and occasionally otherwise!) cars and motorcycles.

Goodwood also looks forward to welcoming Chris onto the presenting team for live broadcasts from Goodwood motor sport events, and where possible to supporting Chris’s competitive drives in everything from the Supercar Shoot-out at the Festival of Speed to the RAC TT Celebration at The Revival.
