Παρίσι 2014: Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse Ettore Bugatti edition

Η Bugatti, έπειτα από το λανσάρισμα στο Pebble Beach, παρουσίασε για πρώτη φορά σε Ευρωπαϊκό έδαφος την έκτη και τελευταία ειδική έκδοση της Veyron με όνομα Grand Sport Vitesse Ettore Bugatti που προφανώς, είναι αφιερωμένη στον ιδρυτή της εταιρίας, Ettore Arco Isidoro Bugatti.

Το

εξωτερικό του αυτοκινήτου είναι δίχρωμο, με το εμπρός μέρος να είναι άβαφο γυαλισμένο αλουμίνιο και να κάνει αντίθεση με το σκούρο μπλε που ξεκινά από την μέση και πίσω. Το μοντέλο έχει επίσης μοναδικές ζάντες ελαφρού κράματος και ένα εξαιρετικά κομψό εσωτερικό σε καφέ χρώμα με επιπλατινωμένο έμβλημα στο σχήμα ενός ελέφαντα που χορεύει.

Μηχανικά, η Ettore Bugatti Edition δεν διαφέρει από τις απλές Grand Sport Vitesse. Έτσι, εξοπλίζεται με έναν quad-turbo W16 κινητήρα 8 λίτρων που αποδίδει 1.200 άλογα και 1.500 Nm ροπής και συνδυάζεται με 7-τάχυτο αυτόματο κιβώτιο διπλού συμπλέκτη. Τα 100 km/h από στάση έρχονται σε 2.6 δευτερόλεπτα ενώ η τελική είναι –ως γνωστόν- 408.84 km/h με την οροφή κατεβασμένη.

Ο πρόεδρος της Bugatti, Wolfgang Duerheimer αποκάλυψε επίσης πως η Veyron έφτασε την “τελική ευθεία” καθώς έχουν μείνει αδιάθετα λιγότερα από 20 αυτοκίνητα ενώ όταν κατασκευαστεί η 450η και τελευταία Veyron, η Bugatti θα ξεκινήσει “το επόμενο κεφάλαιο”.

As a European premiere Bugatti is showing thesixth and final model of its Edition „Les Légendes de Bugatti“ at the VolkswagenGroup Night on the eve of the Paris Motor Show, Mondial de l’Automobile Paris. It isdedicated to Ettore Bugatti, founder and patron of the brand. At the same time Bugattiis celebrating the successful completion of its Legends Edition. Only three vehiclesper model will be built. All 18 vehicles were sold out even before the final model wasunveiled.With this edition Bugatti honors important personalities and cars in its company history. Oneyear ago, the super sports car manufacturer presented the Legends model “Jean-PierreWimille” in California to inaugurate the series. The “Jean Bugatti” then followed at the IAA inFrankfurt and the “Meo Costantini“ at the Dubai Motorshow. Continuing the series, this yearsaw the world première of the “Rembrandt Bugatti” at the Automobile Salon in Geneva and“Black Bess” at Auto China in Peking.
