Το Detroit Electric SP:01 θα παράγεται στην Αγγλία, και θα κυκλοφορήσει μέσα στο έτος

H Detroit Electric ανακοίνωσε ότι το SP:01 δεν θα κατασκευάζεται τελικά στην Ολλανδία αλλά σε ένα νεόδμητο εργοστάσιο στην Αγγλία.

Όπως ξέρουμε, βασίζεται πάνω στο Lotus Exige και φορά έναν ηλεκτροκινητήρα τοποθετημένο στο κέντρο, απόδοσης 150 kW (204 ίππων) με 225 Nm ροπής, με τα 0-100 χλμ/ώρα να τα κάνει σε 3,7 δευτερόλεπτα, έχοντας τελική ταχύτητα 250 χλμ/ώρα.

Electric να αναφέρει ότι θα μπορούσαν να υπάρξουν κάποιες αλλαγές στο σχεδιασμό, με την “τελική σχεδίαση του αυτοκινήτου να αποκαλυπτεται μέσα στις επόμενες εβδομάδες.”

Η παραγωγή του θα περιοριστεί στις 999 μονάδες με αρχική τιμή τις $135.000 (€99.500).
