Our Firm is seeking a mid-level corporate associate to join its dynamic team of professionals in our Nicosia Office
MAIN REQUIREMENTS DUTIES:

Drafting, reviewing and negotiating of sophisticated commercial agreements and documentation across a wide spectrum, including

SHAs, SPAs, JVAs, sale and lease agreementsDrafting of legalopinionsHandling, steering and successfully concluding M&A, banking and finance transactionsExperience with Cyprus public limited liability companies, including listed companies in Cyprus and abroadCompilation of due diligence reports vis-a-vis companies with a long and complex financial history and in relation to real estateExperience and knowledge of national and EU competition law and familiarity with the procedures and practices of the Cyprus Commission for the Protection of CompetitionExperience and knowledge in regulatory matters, including the securing of licenses for and compliance of investment firms and ASPs as well as the setting up of UCITSs and ICISs.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

High 2:1 (or higher) LL.B. and LL.M. (a specialisation in company law, commercial law,banking law, competition law or EU law will be considered an advantage);Member of the Cyprus Bar AssociationFour to five years post-qualification progressive working experience gained in the corporate department of a top- tier Cyprus law firmCandidates with related overseas experience or other related experience will also be consideredExcellent knowledge of Greek and English (knowledge of Russian and/ or of other foreign languages will be considered an advantage)
