Chief Accountant

Πόλη: Limassol

Καθήκοντα:
Organize, coordinate and supervise the day to day accounts operations
Responsible for setting up and maintaining highly automated accounting and management information systems

for the Company
Conduct reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities
Oversee cash flow planning
Responsible for the budgetary process; analyzing and evaluating budget requests in alignment with the Company’s strategic plan. Monitoring of budgets throughout the year
Prepare and maintain regular financial planning reports
Responsible for the timely preparation of the Company’s accounts
Coordinate and support external audits
Responsible for compliance with tax requirements and reporting to government authorities
Ensure legal and regulatory compliance regarding all accounting functions
Mentor and develop direct team and manage proper allocation

Προσόντα:
University degree in Accounting/Finance, ACA or ACCA qualified
At least five years of experience in the position of Chief Accountant
Working experience with SAP ERP is highly regarded
Experience with Cognos BI will be considered as an advantage
Relevant experience in audit and costing
Must be commercially focused and minded
Excellent organizational skills
Analytical and reasoning skills
Multi-tasking skills required
Broad IT skills
Effective communicator at all levels of the organization, with strong oral and written skills
Good knowledge of the Greek and English language
