VACANCIES
The Cyprus Institute of Neurology and Genetics has vacancies for Post-Doctoral Fellow and Laboratory Scientific Officer to work on research projects on Non-Invasive Prenatal Diagnosis funded by the European Union Research Council (ERC Advance grant). The positions are for a period of 24 months with a possibility of extension for up to total 4-5 years.

1. Post-Doctoral Fellow (Ref. code: 400813(a))

Minimum Requirements

• PhD

degree in Molecular Biology, Genetics or closely related fields
Prior experience in next generation sequencing methodologies and genomics data analysis, familiarity with the epigenetics field, programming skills and basic knowledge of C, C++ or similar will be considered as advantages.

2. Laboratory Scientific Officer (Ref. code: 400813(b))

Minimum Requirements

• BA/BSc or equivalent degree in any Biological Science or closely related fields

Prior experience in next generation sequencing methodologies and genomics data analysis will be considered as advantages.
