On behalf of our client Messrs OSMO SISTEMI s.r.l. Italy, a member of the Caramondani Group of Companies, we are seeking for a Product Engineer for the company’s “desalination equipment” fabrication facility in Fano, Italy.

Job Role

Direct and manage

all aspects of individual multi-discipline Engineering, Procurement and Construction of water treatment plants from inception to completion.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

- Preparation of bid packages based on tender specifications for complex, water treatment focused projects.

- Prepare engineering calculations, technical proposals, process flow and layout diagrams, and construction drawings.

- Specify water treatment equipment and systems, and review equipment specifications and bid packages.

- Collaboration with colleagues, engineers, designers and administrative staff supporting their assignments.

- Interface with key client and project staff in project team meetings.

- Eventually to plan, organize and control all aspects of projects including proposals, studies, detailed designs and construction and commissioning support.

- Eventually to provide clients with assistance during installation, commissioning and start-up of equipment and related systems and during after sales service on purchased equipment and related systems.

Qualifications and Experience

- A Mechanical, Chemical, or Electrical Engineering related degree.

- 3 years post graduate experience. Experience with primary water treatment process, piping systems and chemicals for water treatment processes will be considered an advantage.

- Ability to identify, interpret, and apply relevant knowledge, codes and standards to engineering designs, meeting industry design norms, standards of care and client expectations.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English language. Knowledge of the Italian and any other languages will be considered an advantage.

- Excellent organizational skills.

- Demonstrated ability to prepare technical proposals and engage in business development opportunities, and ability to manage client relations.

- Working knowledge of Microsoft office software including spread sheets and word processing. Knowledge of AutoCAD will be considered an advantage.

- The Candidate will eventually and after considerable training, be required to travel to Europe, Africa and Middle East as a Product Engineer.

Remuneration package

Competitive remuneration will be offered depending on qualifications, that includes set monthly salary and performance-based annual bonus.
