Job Description

We are looking for a technically competent SEO executive to support the delivery of the SEO strategy. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 years experience in the technical aspects of SEO. They will be target driven, proactive and innovative in approach.

Specific responsibility includes:

• Technical audit of the website to ensure it is SEO friendly, working with IT to ensure any necessary developments are actioned and completed as required
• Complete a thorough audit of competitors and develop recommendations based on findings
• Conduct keyword research to identify new opportunities ensuring response volumes and MAR is achieved
• Develop and define the link building strategy to regain rankings. This should be a future proofed and safe strategy based on a sound understanding of SEO techniques
• Identify authoritative websites in our space, build relationships and develop an understanding of desired content, Work with the communications team to ensure impactful and unique content is developed in a timely manner
• Review onsite content to ensure it is structured in line with best practice and top optimise conversion. Review keyword density and make recommendations as to how onsite content can be further developed
• Regularly review meta titles and meta descriptions and make sure they adhere to best practice, ensuring maximum exposure in search whilst achieving a high CTR and response level
• Support the development of the social media strategy
• Develop a robust process for regular link reviews and website audit to ensure best practice is being followed

Person Specification

The ideal candidate will:

• Have at least 1 year experience
• Have a thorough knowledge of search ranking factors and critical updates demonstrate how to develop future proof SEO strategies
• Be knowledgeable of both on-site and off-site SEO techniques, with a solid understanding of SEO best practice, primarily Google, but also awareness of other search engines such as Bing
• Have a first rate hand on Link Building
• Be familiar with industry-standard and SEO software / tools
• Have a proven experience in tracking campaigns on Google Analytics
