Technical support to customers and internal staff and will ensure that calls for support are dealt with promptly and appropriately.
Travelling for Technical attendances on-board ships will also be required from time to time both in Cyprus and abroad.

Responsibilities
- dealing directly with clients on Computer/Network related issues
- assisting and liaising with the IT Department
- entering and extracting data from and to bespoke software
- assisting internal employees on day-to-day matters
- installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, scanners and more
- planning and undertaking scheduled maintenance upgrades
- talking to clients and computer users to determine the nature of problems
- responding to breakdowns
- investigating, diagnosing and solving computer software and hardware faults
- repairing equipment and replacing parts
- Shift and on-call work may be required, particularly where computing equipment is in continual 24-hour operation

Skills and experience
- 1+ years experience in IT support
- Excellent customer services skills
- a thorough knowledge of operating systems, networking, hardware and software
- excellent problem-solving skills
- the ability to explain problems and solutions clearly to non-technical users
- the ability to prioritize, work under pressure and meet deadlines
- a patient and methodical approach
- the ability to work alone or as part of a team
- an awareness of health and safety.
- a professional telephone manner
- excellent oral and written knowledge of the English language
- knowledge of Greek and Russian languages would be considered a great advantageNumber of persons required:1Qualifications required:BSc Degree in ITOther requirements:N/ALocation(s):LimassolEmployment conditions:Full Time
