Sofocles Kyprianou Ltd a leading commercial group in the Sanitary Ware, Ceramic Tiles, Kitchen and Plumbing products is seeking to employ a high calibre individual for the position of the financial controller in Nicosia. The successful candidate will be reporting directly to the management and will have the overall responsibility of the accounting department.

Main

Responsibilities:

- Smooth functioning of the finance operations of the group.

- Monitoring and presentation of financial results to the management.

- Preparation of financial plans and forecasts.

- Preparation of consolidated P&Ls and B&Ls on monthly basis.

- Supervising credit and stock control.

- Responsible for the computer system and internal controls.

- Handle V.A.T and tax matters e.t.c

- Managing business relations with external associates such an external auditors.

Qualifications:

- Candidate should be a qualified certified Accountant with at least 5 years of experience. Non qualified accountants can be considered provided they can prove that they are able for the post.

- Strong business and commercial knowledge.

- Excellent people managerial and interpersonal skills with all levels of staff.

- Strong capability to set high performance standards and meet objectives.
