Citizen Protection Min Chrysochoidis highlights police modernization at Larissa meeting

Citizen Protection Minister Michalis Chrysochoidis emphasized the ongoing reform and modernization of the Hellenic Police during a meeting at the Larissa Police Headquarters, stressing that these efforts aim to address modern needs and ensure citizens feel secure.

He underscored the necessity of updating the Hellenic Police to "align with the mission and structure of modern police forces worldwide."

Chrysochoidis also addressed border security, stating, "We are here to guard and protect the country’s borders. Evros is well-fortified with substantial personnel and technology capable of monitoring the borders," he added.
