Earthquake in Attica Felt Across Athens

An earthquake struck Attica on Wednesday afternoon, shaking many areas, including central Athens. According to the revised solution from the Geodynamic Institute, the earthquake measured 2.8 on the Richter scale, with its epicenter located three kilometers southwest of Chalandri.

The focal depth is estimated at 6.3 kilometers. Earlier, another earthquake measuring 2.3 on the Richter scale occurred in Agia Paraskevi, which was felt by residents.
