Greek Government Calls Emergency Meeting on Santorini Earthquakes

The Greek government will hold an emergency interministerial meeting Tuesday at 9 a.m. to address the continuing earthquakes near Santorini.

The meeting, at the Ministry of Climate Crisis and Civil Protection, will coordinate the government's response. 

Climate Crisis and Civil Protection Minister Vasilis Kikilias called the meeting, which will include local officials, and representatives from the Fire Department, police, Coast Guard, Armed Forces, emergency services (EKAB), and agencies like the Earthquake Planning and Protection Organization (OASP), Public Power Corporation (DEDDIE), and the Technical Chamber of Greece (TEE).
