Repatriated Greeks from Syria Find Safe Haven in Elefsina

Eighteen Greek nationals who were living in war-torn Syria have arrived safely in Elefsina, where they will be provided with temporary housing and support.

These individuals are part of a larger group of 33 repatriated Greeks who were airlifted out of Syria in a government-coordinated operation.

The

repatriates will be housed in a facility in Elefsina for approximately two months, where they will receive accommodation, meals, and other essential support services.

Dimitris Glymis, the Secretary General for Asylum Seekers, personally welcomed the repatriates and assured them of the government's ongoing support during their transition back to Greece.

This repatriation effort underscores the Greek government's commitment to assisting its citizens abroad during times of crisis.

It also highlights their dedication to providing repatriated Greeks with the resources and support they need to successfully reintegrate into Greek society.
