Third fatality in Katehaki traffic accident

Two men and a woman died, and two other people were injured on Monday afternoon in a traffic accident on Katehaki Avenue, Athens. According to police, the accident occurred at about 4pm on Katehaki Avenue involving three cars and a taxi.

The 91-year-old driver died in the collision, as well as his 83-year-old wife and their 56-year-old son. The two elderly people were extricated dead from the vehicle after a fire brigade operation, while the son was recovered critically injured and died shortly later at the Gennimatas Hospital, where he had been taken. Two more people are still being treated at the Gennimatas hospital, injured in the accident.
