Tensions have flared in the Aegean Sea as a pair of Turkish F-16 fighter jets, along with three Turkish maritime surveillance aircraft and a CN-235 transport plane, entered Greek airspace without submitting flight plans.

Greek authorities reported the violations, which occurred in the southeastern Aegean region, and confirmed that all Turkish aircraft were swiftly identified and intercepted in accordance with international protocols.
