For some people, Athens is nothing but the Acropolis. Even though, we do not agree -Athens is so much more-, we must, however, admit that the Acropolis is a major appealing element

to the city center and that the Athenians as much as the visitors, love a nice restaurant with a spectacular view of the Sacred Rock. Now, you don’t have to visit every single one of them, in order to find one of your taste. We have done so and we are able to present the best restaurants with an Acropolis view!

When it comes to La Suite Lounge (St George Lycabettus Hotel), the recommendations are not of much use: one of the best luxury restaurants in Athens, specializing in creative Greek cuisine. Comfortable, bright and discreetly luxurious space, with a breathtaking view of the whole of Athens- with the Acropolis surely being the most impressive feature.

Attikos Greek House, right at the base of Philopappou hill, offers so much more than an unhindered view of the Acropolis. It is a top-rated restaurant, serving delicious traditional Greek dishes, known for its family atmosphere, that is intensified by the homey environment with the fireplace and the wood and stone decorational details.

Another wonderful choice in the heart of Thissio is Thissio View. Modern and stylish, it is an ideal place for a romantic night out. Well-presented dishes from all over the Mediterranean in combination with the most spectacular Acropolis view, it sure offers an unforgettable dining experience!

On the rooftop of the Dorian Inn Hotel, you will find the well-known Point of view. Although its 360 degrees’ view is its main privilege, it is however, not the only one. Smart, with minimalist decoration, yet casual at the same time, it offers well executed dishes of international cuisine as well as some great cocktails and quality drinks. Worth-visiting!
