International NATO exercises began in the Black Sea. This was reported by Radio Romania.

It is noted that the drills will be held under the command of the Romanian Navy.

During the exercise, 13 warships, nine aircraft, a pyrotechnic truck and an underwater robot will be used at sea,

on land and in the air.

Fleet Command in Constanta will lead the planned training activities at sea, on land and in the air, involving combined forces from Bulgaria, France, Greece, Spain, the United States of America, Turkey and Romania.

The exercise scenario includes joint submarine threat sequences that practice NATO operational procedures for identifying and clearing sea mines and improvised explosive devices, a sequence of actions to counter enemy aircraft, surface ships and submarines, and maneuvers to tow a damaged ship, resupply at sea and first aid.

As reported, the Ukrainian paratroopers in March will conduct exercises near the administrative border with Crimea.

“A complex of combat training is planned by the command of Joint Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine for the group of forces whose units keep positions in the southern direction – every month and in March, specifically. First of all, the units are supposed to improve their ability to show timely and adequate response to danger from the air and the sea coast”, Nayev said.
