Ο Αντίλ Ραμί φέρεται να βρίσκεται σε άσχημη ψυχολογική κατάσταση, καθώς η σχέση του με την Πάμελα Άντερσον έληξε άδοξα. Σύμφωνα με τον γαλλικό Τύπο, ο 32χρονος αμυντικός είχε κάνει πρόταση γάμου στην Αμερικανίδα ηθοποιό, την οποία συνόδεψε με ένα μονόπετρο Cartier. Η Άντερσον ζήτησε χρόνο να απαντήσει και αφού μάζεψε τα πράγματά της, αποχώρησε από τη Γαλλία, ανακοινώνοντας στον Ραμί την αρνητική της απάντηση. Τα ίδια δημοσιεύματα αναφέρουν πως η Άντερσον κράτησε το δαχτυλίδι, το οποίος κατέληξε στον αδερφό της.

It’s when I’m most unhappy - I would rather be brave and different than try to create an image that is untrue -(to please others) I love life. It is a responsibility. It is a play ground - that I believe revolves around love and our differences - carving new paths. This is the exciting part. I am not an easy girl I have strong opinions and values.
