Βοηθός του Ντοκ Ρίβερς ο Ταϊρόν Λου

Πολύ κοντά στην ανάληψη της θέσης του βοηθού προπονητή του Ντοκ Ρίβερς είναι ο Ταϊρόν Λου. Ο πρωταθλητής του 2016 με τους Καβαλίερς (ως πρώτος προπονητής) ήταν μεταξύ των υποψηφίων για τον πάγκο των Λέικερς, εντούτοις οι δύο πλευρές δεν έφτασαν σε συμφωνία.

Από ότι φαίνεται όμως, ο Λου θα μετακομίσει τελικά στο Λος Άντζελες, αποδεχόμενος τη θέση του πρώτου βοηθού του Ντοκ Ρίβερς.

Lue was widely regarded as the leading candidate for the Lakers' head coaching job before talks broke down. Lue has worked alongside Rivers before and would likely join the Clippers as associate head coach

Lue won a championship in 2016 and reached the NBA Finals in his first three seasons as head coach with the Cleveland Cavaliers before his ouster six games into last season. He has previously worked on Rivers' staff with the Clippers and in Boston before that
