Η Chevrolet παρουσίασε στη μεγαλύτερη έκθεση aftermarket προϊόντων και εταιριών στον κόσμο, το Colorado Z71 Trail Boss 3.0 concept. Το μοντέλο, βασίζεται στο Colorado Crew Cab και όπως βλέπεις, είναι βαμμένο σε Red Hot χρώμα με μαύρες ρίγες.

Το πρωτότυπο εξοπλίζεται με εκτός δρόμου ανάρτηση, νέες ζάντες ελαφρού κράματος με εκτός δρόμου ελαστικά, roll bar, LED

φώτα και κάποια πλαστικά προστατευτικά. Στο ίδιο μήκος κύματος κινείται και το εσωτερικό. Η Αμερικανική εταιρία τοποθέτησε μαρσπιέ από ανοξείδωτο ατσάλι, διάφορα μεταλλικά διακοσμητικά, ατμοσφαιρικό φωτισμό και νέα, πιο ανθεκτικά στην κακοποίηση πατάκια. Δυστυχώς, η Chevrolet δεν αποκάλυψε τον κινητήρα που κινεί το Trail Boss 3.0 concept αλλά επιβεβαίωσε ότι διαθέτει νέα εισαγωγή αέρα και sport εξάτμιση.

Colorado Z71 Trail Boss 3.0 Concept Shows Off-Road StyleNew styling accessories, performance parts enhance trail-ready capability

LAS VEGAS – The Colorado Z71 Trail Boss Edition is designed for those who want to blaze their own trails and Chevrolet’s new Z71 Trail Boss 3.0 concept vehicle enhances its off-road style with new Chevrolet accessories and performance parts.

Chevrolet introduced the new concept vehicle at the SEMA Show today, where it joined concept versions of the Silverado 1500 and HD models to demonstrate the depth and breadth of the brand’s three-truck lineup.

“The Colorado Z71 Trail Boss Edition is made for tackling the tough terrain required to get away from it all and this concept version does it with rugged style,” said Sandor Piszar, director of Chevrolet Truck Marketing. “And whether it’s the Colorado, Silverado 1500 or Silverado HD, there’s a Chevy truck to take you where you want to go, regardless of whether there’s a road leading there.”

The production 2016 Colorado Z71 Trail Boss is offered in extended and crew cab configurations, with a choice of a long or short cargo bed and available 4WD – as well as the all-new 2.8L Duramax turbo-diesel, which takes the maximum trailering rating up to 7,700 pounds.

In addition to Chevy’s proven off-road truck suspension package, the Z71 Trail Boss Edition features:– Cargo bed-mounted sport bar with LED trail lighting– Black fender flares– Black bowtie emblems, front and rear– 17-inch black-painted aluminum wheels matched with Goodyear DuraTrac 265/65R17 all-terrain tires– G80 automatic locking rear differential– 4WD transfer case shield– Front recovery hooks– Black, three-inch round rocker steps– Spray-in bedliner– Projector beam headlamps– Front fog lamps– All-weather floor mats with the Z71 logo.

The Trail Boss 3.0 concept is based on the Crew Cab 4WD model – in Red Hot – and takes its style to a higher level with new accessory rally stripe graphics and performance exhaust. There’s also a performance air intake under the hood.

It also incorporates a number of custom and concept styling touches, including an illuminated front bowtie emblem in the grille, body-color door handles and mirror caps, and rocker bars.

Additionally, custom touches adorn the interior, including a concept ambient lighting system. Rubberized floor liners, a brushed metal interior trim kit and stainless steel sill plates add further distinction and are part of the portfolio of accessories offered by Chevrolet.

“At its core, the Trail Boss offers owners the gear-carrying ability and versatility they need to venture off-road, with segment-leading efficiency and capability,” said Piszar. “The Trail Boss 3.0 concept builds on that to show the choices from Chevrolet to help customers personalize their truck.”

The Colorado Z71 Trail Boss 3.0 concept joins more than 20 Chevrolet concept and production vehicles this week at the SEMA Show, in Las Vegas. As with other concepts, Chevrolet will evaluate responses and opinions to help determine production possibilities for additional parts and accessories, as well as special-edition models.
