Budgeting & Reporting Senior Analyst

The role:

The successful candidate will assist in the complete budget process and the reporting function (both internal and external) of the finance department. Further, the role holder will have interaction with all departments of the business and will report to the Budgeting & Reporting Manager.

Responsibilities:

Assisting in the preparation and implementation

of procedures and processes for producing the company’s reports, annual budgets, forecasts and any other reports required by the business.Assisting in providing evidence of evaluation of current practices, proposing new procedures to improve financial management practices and continually evaluating and reviewing policies and practices that affect the budgeting and reporting cycle.Assisting in following reliable quality procedures and ensuring deliverables are complete, accurate and on time.Liaising and maintain networks within other departments to facilitate the achievement of financial objectivesBuilding and maintaining information and reporting systems. Assisting in developing and implementing principles, strategies and procedures and recommendations which support effective information management and information sharingAssisting in financial research, analysis and reporting as listed below:Quality assurance checks on dataMonthly Operational reportsDivisional reportsQuarterly Operational reports for vendor financiersFinancial statistics to QA teamInterim and Annual Consolidations Pack.

Experience/Knowledge:

Diploma and/or BSc in Accounting and Finance or in a related fieldPostgraduate degree (MBA, etc) and / or professional qualification (CFA, ACCA, ACA, CPA, CIMA, etc) will be an advantageAt least 1-2 years experience in related fieldBusiness and financial acumenStrong analytical skillsStrategic foresightExcellent communication skills – Greek and English

The role:

The successful candidate will co-ordinate and control of the company’s Commercial Legal as aligned to Group policy. This involves management & monitoring of all internal and external regulatory and commercial interfaces. The responsibility of this function includes litigation, contract management and compliance to statutory requirements.

Responsibilities:

Monitoring commercial operations while ensuring day to day compliance with legal and regulatory frameworkEfficient contractual drafting and management while securing interests of the companyHandle commercial licensing worksManaging court cases and solving disputes with regard to commercial legal litigationsMonitoring the development of operations for compliance to lawsGuide and direct vendors and third parties in achieving MTN objectivesEnsure performance and compliance obligations are metRelationship building and corporate networking with internal stakeholdersCoordinate legal matters for all division of MTN Cyprus

Experience/Knowledge:

Bachelor Degree – LLBPost graduate degree will be considered as an advantageCyprus Bar admission will be preferableGood contextual understanding of the local Business Environments, socio-political, protocols and nuances.2 to 3 years of relevant work experience in an in house and/or in a law firm positionGood knoweldge of the following laws:Commercial; Contract; Privacy, Consumer Protection and Communication rules; Labour; Corporate; and Electronic communications market and technologyExcellent communication skillsExcellent negotiation skillsVery good knowledge of English and Greek
