Applications Now Open for 2024 Winter Heating Subsidy

The Mythermansi platform is now accepting applications for the 2024 winter heating subsidy. Households can receive between €100 and €1,200, depending on factors like income, family size, property value, and regional temperatures.

Eligibility criteria, as reported by ERT, focus on annual family income and total asset value. Single-person households must have an income below

€16,000, while couples can earn up to €24,000, with an extra €5,000 allowed per child. Single-parent households qualify with income up to €29,000, plus €5,000 for each child after the first.

Additionally, the total value of the applicant's property must not exceed €200,000 for single individuals and €300,000 for married couples.

Households in areas with colder winter temperatures may receive up to a 25% increase in their subsidy amount, providing extra support for heating costs.
