PM Mitsotakis to meet with the emir of Qatar on Wednesday

Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis will be interviewed by journalists George Kakousis and Anna Livathinou on the Action24 TV station at 09:00 on Wednesday.

At 10:05, the Prime Minister will speak at the Hellenic Capital Market Commission's conference themed "Climate in the Center of Economy,"

held at the Grand Hyatt Athens.

Emir of Qatar

At 11:30, Mitsotakis will meet with Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani at the Maximos Mansion.

It will be the emir's first visit to Greece, and follows Mitsotakis' visit to Doha in February during which Qatar had expressed its interest in boosting collaboration with Greece in the economic and investments fields. The meeting at Maximos Mansion is expected to also include discussion on collaboration in energy, tourism, and defense, government sources said. Other topics will include discussion on the Middle East and Gaza, and on EU-Qatar relations.

The emir will be accompanied by a delegation of ministers and the CEO of Qatar Investment Authority, among others, while extended talks will be held with the Greek delegation, which will include several ministers.
