Battlefield: Bad Company 3

O creative director της DICE Lars Gustavsson επιβεβαίωσε ότι θα υπάρχει και 3ος τίτλος για την σειρά Battlefield: Bad Company.

Ο Lars Gustavsson δήλωσε:

“My feeling is that I would love to do it. For me, when we started the company with 1942, it was really a work of passion, αnd then we worked our way through the era

of different wars, and I loved them all, like my little babies. When it came to Bad Company, it was creative freedom; don’t take yourself too seriously. So I love it. I want to see it again, whether it can happen [right] now with the newly announced Mirrors Edge 2 and Star Wars: Battlefront… but we’ll see.”

Στη συνέντευξη τύπου του Ε3 το 2003, η EA παρουσίασε τόσο Mirror’s Edge 2 όσο και το Star Wars:. Battlefront, με τους δύο next-gen τίτλους σε φάση ανάπτυξης και παράλληλα με το επερχόμενο (για τότε) Battlefield 4. Η EA αργότερα είπε ότι σχεδιάζει να “περιστρέφεται” μεταξύ Battlefield, Titanfall, και Star Wars : Battlefront ως κύριες ετήσιες shooter εκδόσεις. Αν και πότε δεν είχε αναφερθεί κάτι για το Bad Company 3, ο Gustavsson είχε πει:

“But trust me, the Bad Company [team] isn’t forgotten, they are just on a very long vacation. They are out there, they’re coming back.”
